So You Think You Can Dance is BACK for the summer!!! I waited until the top 20 were announced to do any posting, tryouts while not as obnoxious as American Idol still obnoxious. On Thursday while announcing they all performed in three dances each - one style group [contemporary, hip hop, etc], one all boys or girls, and the top 20 together.

This was my favorite dance:

These are my favorite two dancers. Plus, I think the hip hop boys are strong, and I'm excited about the tapper!

RED locks & BOLD frames

I know I've been a bit sparse around these parts recently but... I'm here. Actually, this  happens to be post 175, and I think it's time for a bit of a redesign.

A certain someone wrote me a few haiku after I mentioned that I wish that I wrote them. This was my favorite:

Some hesitations because my hair is really strawberry blonde, unless I dye it in the winter, which I'm already planning to do next year!, and with summer here [fickle] and the sunny days that come with it, sunglasses & contacts will be reentering my life in a big way. I like this title though, I think it suits me. So here we go, come take a look:

Train4Change -- Seahorse Triathlon 5k Playlist

I'm sitting here soaking my feet in Epsom's salts to sooth four blisters, one of which popped during my run and is now a very ouchy scab, and I thought it was the perfect time to do race recap. Then I realized that was quite a detailed process and I don't have the energy.

I did pull together my playlist to share, so here we go.

delightfully procrastinating

1.   People always tell me I look like someone they know from the next town over. Once I was told I looked like one of the characters from Castle, haven't figured out who. I asked Matt once, incase doppleganger week came back to faceybook and we were watching one of the HIMYM dg episodes, and he said I kind look like Abby Elliot from SNL. I'll take it.

2.  Friends don't let friends take themselves too seriously. 

3.  A sunny [warm] day is perfect for throwing open the windows and breathing the fresh air, a bit of yard work and cookout. 

4.  My favorite accessory is the earring set Matt gave me for Chirstmas.

5.  If I could afford it I would pay a housecleaner, I can't keep up and it's just me and soon to be Matt.

6.  The cure for boredom is flipping on the tv or open the computer.

7.  I am currently "in like" with this moment, warm on the porch with sleeping kitties and still delightfully procrastinating the cleaning I need to get to and my stupid broken dryer duct in the basement.

I've wanted to post something sweet or profound or just lovely all day, but nothing has struck me. So, I'm stealing something from my faceybook. You can't go wrong with a little Adele. Until yesterday I hadn't watched the video, I just let it play in the background. You need to watch, seriously.

I see photos of dancers, and I want to see them dance.

 

And sometimes I want to learn to dance.
